The Fox River Story

At Fox River, our Australian Labradoodles are raised in a peaceful, structured home environment that brings out the best in every puppy. We specialise in steady, gentle temperaments and well-balanced companions who are suited to both family homes and steady companion roles.

We keep our programme intentionally small. With only two breeding dogs and a maximum of two litters a year, every puppy receives dedicated attention and a calm, stable start. This also means that availability is limited and homes are chosen with great care. Our priority is always the long-term wellbeing of the puppies and the integrity of the breed.

Each litter is raised indoors, surrounded by warmth, routine, and daily human contact. This homely environment builds confidence, supports calm development, and helps each puppy grow into a secure, emotionally grounded dog.

Guided by close observation, behavioural insight, and years of hands-on experience, we observe every puppy closely as they develop. Some naturally carry a soothing presence; others show bright, joyful energy. Whatever their nature, our focus is to support their growth and find the right environment for their individual temperament.

Honesty, ethics, and responsibility shape everything we do. From clear contracts to the toys we thoughtfully select, we operate with transparency so families know exactly what to expect. Our priority is always the long-term wellbeing of the dogs — from the puppies we raise to the carefully chosen homes they move on to.

Fox River Therapy Dogs is more than a breeding programme. It represents a place built with care, purpose and pride — a home where each puppy begins life in a setting that values calmness, consistency and genuine wellbeing.
All puppies are placed under written contract, with their long-term welfare as the absolute priority. Health care, vaccinations, early development, and mandatory sterilisation arrangements are agreed in advance and form part of every placement. Homes are selected carefully and thoughtfully, never rushed, and based on suitability rather than availability, ensuring each puppy is placed securely and responsibly for life.
